Housing
The 360°kids YOUTHrive programs offer inclusive, enriched recreation and mentorship programming for the residents of (7) seven housing co-operatives to support their social, emotional, physical and mental health needs. The program offers a safe place for youth to debrief about their day with staff, connect and develop relationships with other youth in their community. Through this program, children and youth will benefit from purposeful programming aimed to increase life skills, as well as, connect them and their families to resources within their communities.
Mentors in the program offer participants assistance with informal counselling, job search support, homework assistance, post-secondary school applications, financial aid support, and basic life skills, such as eating a balanced diet.
This is a free drop-in program offered 5 days per week and is geared to two different age groups.
The 360°kids YOUTHrive programs are offered to ages 7-12 and 13-17. In each community, there are programming calendars posted in the community rooms with dates, times and specific programming for the age specific group. Please note that times and days change accordingly.
