The At-Home 360°Experience
It’s been over a week now since we hosted our At-Home 360°Experience and we are proud to say that the night was a roaring success.
Back in January we created a goal of raising $50,000 for our 360°kids programs and services that were, and continue to be, greatly impacted by Covid-19; and a hope that our community would be interested in taking part in such a unique event.
Fast-forward to March 4th at 8pm in backyards, cars, porches, balconies and all over York Region we kicked off our very first virtual At-Home 360°Experience. 170 participants went outside in -15°c temperatures with an open mind and heart to learn just a little about what youth face every single night when home is no longer an safe place to be. As well as the new challenges and fears living homeless in a pandemic brings.

With thousands of steps logged and frozen fingers and toes, our 360°kids team still saw smiling faces, and great photos on social media from everyone as they embarked on their journeys throughout the night. We were given the opportunity to showcase what we do, our great community partners, and how we all can make a difference – even just for one night to help raise awareness and vital funds when we come together.
With the hard work of our participants, generous donors and our event sponsors: ABC Technologies, York Regional Police, 105.9 FM The Region, Sharp Appraisal, FCT, JSCP – J.S. Cheng & Partners Inc. and Boston Pizza Rutherford we were able to raise $138,776 for those who utilize our 360°kids programs everyday.
Thank you to every one who worked so hard throughout the event to make such an impact. With your help we can continue to support some of our most vulnerable youth in our community and ensure that every kid matters.
